I was in town with a few foreigners and really wanted to take them to a nice local place. Dampfe is the place to go to when you want to go to a typical german restaurant, which has most of the traditional dishes (at a very fair price!) and a superb atmosphere. It can get crowded, even on weekdays, but the only impact it had on us was that we had to wait a bit longer to get the bill. All in all, great experience with tasty food!

When I go to Germany I have to dine in a Brauhaus. Just the perfect setting to enjoy the German kitchen. The dishes are traditional the portions are big and the beer is great. This Schweinshaxen was absolutely delicious and would go back for this. The dessert was mediocre though. The service is very quick and I recommend this place

The restaurant is very good. The food menu has a lot of options and what we had was tasty. It is also very big and nice decorated. For the summer it has also prepared a place outside with many tables. I didn't get the chance to taste the beer because I was going to drive afterwards. Speaking of cars, it has also a big parking lot in the yard of the restaurant, so one problem is already solved. At 19:00 was crowded or even full, an reservation might help. For me it was sometimes a little bit too loud, but for that amount of people it is normal. Overall I would eat there again.
