Das Gut Oggau blickt zurück auf ein langes Bestehen und wird heute von Stephanie und Eduard Tscheppe- Eselböck in modernem Sinne fortgeführt. Der biologisch-dynamische Weinbau und die Konzentration auf das Wesentliche führen zu einem sehr straffen Sortiment an regionaltypischen und authentischen Weinen. Jeder dieser Weine hat dabei seine eigene Persönlichkeit und steht in enger Beziehung zu den anderen Wein-Charakteren. So werden die Weine zu markanten Personen, die im Ganzen eine einzigartige Weinfamilie bilden. Eine überaus spannende Dynastie, die ein näheres Kennenlernen immer lohnt.

Love the boho chic style, international staff, fantastic food, wine and service. Also loved the little farm as an extension of the bathrooms :)) only downside is that no card payments are accepted, not sure why?!

If you are in Burgenland and enjoy natural wine and excellent food, there really is no better than Gut Oggau.
When you step through the front door, you are greeted by a beautiful courtyard with plenty of comfy outdoor seating (lots of pillows!). The friendly and knowledgeable staff explain that all of the food is fresh and locally sourced, which is really clear from the high quality of the dishes. We had a mixed platter to share and there was plenty of food for the two of us!
The wine speaks for itself, it is an opportunity to try some of Burgenland’s finest natural wine, which would be near impossible to find by the glass anywhere else. While not the same style as wines generally found in Oggau, we were really excited to try some world renowned wine with staff on hand to explain exactly what we were drinking. Delicious & highly recommended!
