We stayed at Zermatterhof in the summer: the place is magical. The staff is friendly (or as friendly as Swiss get at least) and the rooms are very clean. Often nice views. The lounge bar outside is quite trendy and is a welcome break from the classical building. We still missed a guest lounge bar area, but maybe this was closed due to Covid. The breakfast was average (often the good stuff was gone, limited COVID-hygiene and very nervous staff). The massage was top-tier. All in all highly recommended.

From the moment we got picked up by the carriage the staff and service was exceptional and extremely attentive. They all went the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. We had 3 different kinds of rooms, they were all great and exactly what I asked for when I spoke to them on the phone. We ate in the restaurants of the hotel every night and also had drinks at the bar. Our experiences were great thanks to the quality of food, but also the friendly staff. It is such a luxury to come back from skiing into the ski room, where someone helps you with your ski storage, gives you slippers and a bottle of water. Then you recover in the spa to then go down for amazing meals in the hotel. The atmosphere in all the restaurants and bars of the hotel was a perfect combination of comfort and luxury! Will definitely be back again.

We had lunch here at the Lusi and it was amazing! The patio was comfortable and relaxed with beautiful views of the Matterhorn and Zermatt. Our server, Marcel, was wonderful. He gave excellent recommendations and was wonderful to chat with. The food and drinks were excellent, the service was very fast. Would love to eat here again!
