It's a very good hotel. Centrally located in the city center near all the tourist attractions and there are many restaurants and pubs nearby.

My boyfriend and I travel regularly (pre-COVID, min. 1 night/week) and this was one of the BEST hotel experiences we've ever had.
We arrived in Luneburg late at night. Were told that our room was on the first floor. I was instantly disappointed, because in my experience first floor rooms are noisy and we were so exhausted. As soon as we got to our room, I opened the window to check whether there was a road... I still get chills thinking about the view I saw!
Instead of a busy road, we had a perfect vantage point of all the bridges lit up for the night. The water was right underneath our window, giving the impression of floating on the river. It was the most peaceful, stunning view! We didn't order anything special, so I think the hotel gave us this room just to be nice because they could see how worn out we were.
On top of this, the amenities were spectacular. Large, comfy bed. Hot shower with fluffy bathrobes and slippers. Perfect location at the center of town. Wonderful service - when we tried to pay for parking they cancelled our fare! We didn't get breakfast, but I was so appreciative to see that they bagged breakfasts up for guests in order to maintain COVID compliance.
Our stay in Luneburg was the highlight of our trip, thanks largely to our wonderful experience with this hotel. Luneburg is so lovely - I don't know why it's not as famous as Colmar or Bruges! We would definitely come back and stay at this hotel once more.
