The location is beautiful and serene with it's own lake. The food is so good.. wow. Breakfast buffet included, this place really makes me happy. The staff are so incredibly nice. Definitely coming back here.

Great location just outside Freudenstadt, in a beautiful setting, on a small lake surrounded by forest. Very nicely appointed, clean, comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff. The hotel went out of their way to make arrangements so we could take our dog with us to breakfast. The restaurant is very good, specialising in locally sourced ingredients and regional dishes with a difference. We would book here again.

Best place for dinner in southwest Germany. The regional food is exceptionally good and tasty. I haven't been to a better place for this kind of typical regional and unpretentious food. I don't know about the Hotel but the views on the little lake and the setting seems quite idyllic and typical for the National Park of the Black Forest.
