Beschreibung
In dieser schönen Stadt steht eines der ältesten und sehenswertesten bayrischen Wirtshäuser:
1901 eröffnete im Renaissancebau aus der Gründerzeit erstmalig einen Ausschank. Das berühmte Auer Kraftbier schmeckte damals wohl auch dem in der Au geborenen Volksschauspieler Karl Valentin, der zu den Gästen des damaligen Wagner Bräus zählte.
Natürlich, ehrlich, bayrisch ging es 1993 weiter, als hier das Wirtshaus in der Au eröffnete - ein Wirtshaus für Freunde, Fremde, Nachbarn, ob jung oder alt. Mit Paulaner Bier, die Mitarbeiter frisch, frech, fröhlich und einer authentischen Küche, in der mit viel Herzblut gekocht wird. So ist es über die Jahre zu einer der beliebtesten Stadtteilwirtschaften geworden - mit Biergarten, Bar, Jazz-Frühschoppen und den größten Knödeln Münchens.

One of m favorites: down to earth solid food. What they do, they do it really well. The Schnitzel is excellent. My favorite place is the shed outside to overlook the happening in the restaurant and streets. Service ist top and love the atmosphere. Tons of indoor seating as well but might be worth reserving especially during weekends.
