A very good idea to preserve the past. A huge variaty of different trades are displayed. Talk to the person who is still doing it, as the old school.
Wear sturdy shoes, as you will walk quite a distance to see all.
The map given, is correct and informitave.
The entrance fee is average. This Park should be visited in summer as in winter many display houses where closed.

The history here is amazing. I thought it was great to walk through and read the stories behind the buildings. The captions are in German and English for most places. This is a great destination when you have visitors come into town.

The historical buildings make a perfect backdrop for the Weinnachtsmarkt. For the rest of the year, the square has great shops and bistros. Entrance fees are very reasonable.
